It’s clear that many of the Baby Boomers in today’s world are working well beyond the average retirement age, and it seems that they are looking for a new way to spend their time. I would feel the same way after working 30-40 years at the same job.
I think it’s great that an older generation is living longer, and still able to work if they want to. Even if they’re going back to earn an online degree to work in golf maintenance, good for them!
I finished my BS degree on line about six years ago and plan on extending my education to my Master degree. On line of course. I will retire in four years and am content with the knowledge that I completed all my educational goals. On line education is the best thing that has happened since the invention of the internet. A Happy Baby Boomer.

Retirement home, funny! I wonder if they let people use the internet at those places. I’m still pretty young, so I have no idea, but there really should be computer and/or technology support implemented in retirement communities. If not for online learning, they could at very least be able to play some online solitaire, or better yet, Texas hold ‘em! Old guy, all in!!
