The bureau of labor statistics announced unemployment had risen to 5.7 percent in the month of July 2008. These statistics continue to demonstrate the worsening shape of our United States economy. Most sectors of the non farm labor force experienced losses in job markets with the exceptions of Mining and Healthcare. Both the number of unemployed persons (8.8 million) and the unemployment rate (5.7 percent) rose in July. What does this mean? It might be time to go back to school and further your education.
