The Academy of Art University Online truly has one of the best distance learning platforms we have seen of late, with outstanding tutorials and video presentations for projects/subjects. A slight drawback is the inability to perform hands on creative design as you would in a traditional classroom setting. The video instruction is the next best thing, and the detailed instruction should trump hands on direct instruction. Another spotlight for new students is the Online Educational Support Orientation.
