A.D. Bliss as the Dover Business College founded McIntosh College in 1896. In 1902, it was purchased by David McIntosh, CPA, and given its present name. In 1958, the College was incorporated under the laws of the State of New Hampshire and since 1967 it has been authorized by the General Court of the State of New Hampshire with the approval of the Post-Secondary Education Commission to confer upon its graduates the Associate Degree in Business Science. The need for a college education is more apparent today than at any other time in history.
