History
of Colorado Technical University
Colorado Technical University is a private, for-profit institution
of higher learning, granting Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's
and Doctorate degrees as well as Professional Certificates.
The university was founded in 1965 in Colorado Springs, where
the main campus continues to reside today.

Over the past 40 years, Colorado Technical University has
evolved from a technical training school to a university with
graduate-level programs. The introduction in 1995 of doctorate
programs; the establishment of campuses in Denver and Pueblo,
Colorado; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and North Kansas City,
Missouri; and the introduction of the online campus, Colorado
Tech Online, have established CTU as a mature institution
in higher education.
